It was a very cold 30 degrees yesterday morning at 6 a.m., but none the less Bryan, Smitty and I unloaded the garage onto the driveway and our yardsale began. We sold until 2 p.m. and raised an awesome $600! That is a ton for a yardsale people! We sold about 20 shirts and and had very few items left to pack up from the inventory. I would like to shout out to the following families for all their help and donations for this fundraising event for us: The Smith's, The Barnes', The Sherrill's, The Taylor's, The Turvavilles, The Page's, The Higgins, The Kute's, The MacMillans and The Krump's. Thank you so much to Meredith for helping me sort, price, collect and work the sale with me and for Smitty, your husband and his labor to help us unload it all yesterday morning. It was great fun with you all! Thank you to the Sherrill's who donated probably at least a good $200 worth of stuff :)) and for bringing us lunch and helping us breakdown. A big shout out to the Barnes', for taking our children yesterday morning so we could work the sale without having to worry about Joey coming outside asking for his toenails to be clipped every 5 minutes :)))). Seriously, he was doing that.
We have decided that we will pursue another type of selling event such as a rummage sale. So I am now going to be collecting for items to sell in February for that. If you have any items you want to donate, please let me know!
Even though we still have a lot of money to raise, we are moving fast forward in this adoption anyways. We just found out that the Adoption Tax Credit will be expiring after 2012. That means we would normally get about $13,000 credited after our adoption is finalized, but with the expiration it will revert back to pre-Bush tax cuts which was only $5000 credited. So with that being said, we are trying to do everything that is in our power and control to move this along a little faster so that our daughter may be home next December. What's in our power you might ask??? Our paperwork and Dossier preparation. We can work hard over the next 3 months to get everything collected and put together so that we are "referral" ready by March. After that, not much is left in our control technically. Just waiting and praying.
Please consider purchasing a shirt please! They are only $15 for the Adult and Childs: S, M, L, XL. The Adults XXL is $17. Longsleeved T's are all $20.
If you have us ship the T-shirt to you we have to add on a shipping fee of $4. If we can deliver them to you directly, there is no need to pay the shipping fee. Please, please help us sell these. They are a high quality and neat t-shirt to wear.
Peace and Love,
Bryan and Bridgette

So Much Stuff - So Many Thank You's!
Oh my we have accumulated a very good amount of items for our yardsale this Saturday! It looks like it's going to be a very cold morning too! If any of you are still needing a place for any unwanted stuff in your home, please call me because my garage still has room. Our t-shirts that we had made to sell will be here as well on Wednesday. We will be selling them at our yardsale. You may purchase one at anytime through me though. I will post a picture as soon as they come in.
Just to update you all on our paperwork trail, we are sending out all of our homestudy update info completed to the agency tomorrow and make the first big payment to begin the process of our dossier. On Tuesday, we will send out a payment of $3200 big ones plus $1500 for homestudy update to our agency. Upon completion of the homestudy and dossier we will send the another $3200 to the agency to process everything and send off our docs to Uganda and wait to be matched with a child. So you see why our fundraising is so near and dear to our hearts right now :). My goal is to have our dossier finished and ready by Februray and be matched with a child by May. Really the only part that is somewhat in our control or hands is the paperwork process. After we turn it in, it is truly waiting for The Lord to redeem to us who He has chosen for us.
Thank you so much to all of you who've donated items for our yardsale and to so many of you who have also booked Thirty One parties in the last month. I was able to put $400 from all my Thirty One parties in October into our adoption account! How awesome is that! Plus, those of you who had the parties, got lots of free product to boot. It's a double whammy! We are on a good roll here people! Thank you sooooo much!

November 12th Yard Sale!
November 12th, we are having a very large yard sale to raise money! It's from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and we will be selling all kinds of stuff. I've had a lot of amazing donations and there are more coming. We thank you all so much for doing this.
Just Love Coffee Website: We also have an adoption fundraising account with Just Love Coffee. For every bag of coffee you buy, they donate $5 dollars towards our funds. It goes straight to our agency and is credited to our adoption account. If you are thinking of buying some wonderful coffee for Christmas gifts or just for your family, please buy from this website. It's Fair Trade Certified and goes to a great cause.
We just ordered 250 t-shirts as well. They are white tees with a silhouette of Africa on the front in kelly green and the back of the shirt reads "every child needs a home" in kelly green. Simple and classy and very cool to support us. The sizes we are offering are S, M, L, XL in adults and S (6-8), M (10-12) and L (14-16) in children's sizes. All shirts are a flat price of $20. I will post a picture of them when we receive the order in a couple of weeks. Please let me know if you want any certain sizes as they will go fast!

Let The Fundraising Begin
Our first fundraiser for the adoption we have decided to do a yard sale. It is perfect yard sale weather right now! If any of you living near by have anything you'd like to donate to our yard sale, please let me know and I can make arrangements to pick it up. We are selling, clothes, shoes, housewares, linens, furniture and toys. The Klinchuch Adoption Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, November 12th from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our residence.
We'd appreciate any donations for this and thank you for your ongoing prayers and support that we've been receiving. Right now, I am busy with all the paperwork the agency has sent us to update our homestudy. The boys couldn't believe how much paperwork it took to bring them home when they asked what I was working on the other night. I told them it was all the adoption paperwork that has to be done before we can be matched with our future girl. Brayan said 'Whoa Mom, that's like a lot of homework!'. The task is still overwhelming, but since this is our 3rd time, it's not as daunting :). I'm surprisingly getting through it relatively quick so far, but alas this is only the beginning and there's still so much.
Our future daughter lays in our hearts, prayers and minds constantly. Joey prayed tonight that she is sleeping safely wherever she is and that she has a good day everyday. Brayan prayed that she is safe and has no bad dreams and that she dreams of us. I hope she has beautiful dreams too and that the Lord presents us somewhere in her heart and dreams too as Brayan asked. Sweet dreams to all of you tonight!

Sanyu Babies Home
I wanted to take a moment and direct all of you to the Sanyu Babies Home link on the side. This is the orphanage where our future daughter lives. Our first trip to the home will be 30-45 days after we have been matched with a child. We will go for 2 weeks and volunteer our time at the home and reside in the guest house there. We will get a couple of hours a day to spend with our daughter, but the rest of the time will be us working there. Bryan and I chose this program through our adoption agency as it's a way for us to experience life there as connect to our future child even deeper through experience as well as a way for us to give back to the home that took care of our child. If you go to the link, you can see what types of work we will be needed for. Some of it may be helping with building improvements to the home as well as cooking, cleaning and helping take care of the children. We will come back from that first trip and wait another 4-6 months before going back to pick up our child and take her home. That trip will consist of about 3 weeks there. If you are interested in going with us to help out and donate your time to the Sanyu Babies Home and orphans of Uganda, start saving your money now. We'd love for you to come and experience it with us. Visitors and volunteers are always welcome there and there is plenty of work for everyone. Another way for you to support the home, is to donate supplies or financial aid through there website.

Gratitude
Last night during my bible/book study group, one of my very good friends asked us all to end each of our days with counting all the things that we are grateful for. I've never thought about that, but how content I felt when I laid down to go to sleep last night. Here's my list:
My husband and boys
My family and friends in Idaho, NC, Louisiana and Alabama
The love support for our future little girl as well as the excitement that fills my heart
My endurance to cook a dinner at the end of a very long day
The job my husband has to keep a roof over our heads
My 3 cats and 1 stinky old poochito Emma
My patience yesterday when my 6 year old through a massive tantrum about his Wii game
The order of these things matters not, but when I sat down and reflected upon my day and how much stress I felt of that day and the next day to come overwhelmed me. As soon as I spoke my list, it wasn't so bad I thought. Today, I started out with the same list. What is your list?

New Title Contest?
My dear husband loves this blog, but does not like the title I have put on it. He doesn't think it's creative enough. I agree somewhat, but at the time that I was creating this blog, I was more set on trying to figure out the 'dashboard' of this sight. So, if you have a better title for our family's blog, I want to know about it. The winner receives the satisfaction of getting their title placed as our new blog title :). Let me just tell you what my husband's title is: 'The Klin"zoo"s Adoption Journey". Only because, with 2 boys, 3 cats and a dog, he feels like we live in a zoo. Somedays I would quite agree with him too! So those of you who feel quite confident that you have a much classier, fun and creative title for our adoption blog, please let us know your creations and we will vote on it at the end of the week.

Excitement Gathers Around
It has only been one day since we announced to everyone that we were starting our third adoption. I am overcome with such love and support from everyone. Open arms all around from everyone. I was expecting some opinions, questions and skepticism, but it seems no one is surprised that we are ready to adopt a little girl into our family. We have been talking about when this might happen for the last two years and we thought it might be even another year before we were ready, but the timing is all God's alone. Adoption can be a very stressful verb to follow into, but every parent seems to know just when it's right. We are in that spirt right now. It's right and it feels so wonderful to begin this journey, I can't even tell you.
Right now we have only signed our contract with the adoption agency a few days ago. Within the next couple of weeks we will begin preparation for the dossier. Our goal is to have our dossier finished and ready to be sent off to Uganda by the end of April. We hope to be matched with a child by around the end of July and hopefully come home sometime around the beginning of January 2013. Obviously, we hope to have her even quicker than that, but it is wise to set our hopes further out rather than sooner. For now we are going to have to do some fund raising to help pay for a bit of this adoption, but we have some fun and unique ideas that we are ready to put into action. I am mostly thankful for my Thirty-One business as it allows me to put all my income from that straight into our adoption account. So if anyone is thinking of where they might do some Christmas shopping, please please visit my Thirty-One website as all the profit from your purchases there go straight towards our little girls adoption.
The boys are alive with excitement and Joey wishes she'd just come home tomorrow already! Brayan understands a bit more that this is process and could take a long time. I love how involved our children have become in their future little sister's place in our family. They lovingly refer to her and talk about a child they have never met or cannot put a face to. She is already in their hearts.
For now, this is the beginning, but please stop by anytime here to check in on us! Peace and love.
